Cross Your Heart And Hope To Die?

BUCHANAN, NY: SIRENS MALFUNCTION AT NUCLEAR STATION The emergency siren system for the Indian Point nuclear power station malfunctioned during a test yesterday and had to be taken out of service for about three hours, county and station officials said. The system was taken down so experts could troubleshoot computer glitches that marred a test of the 156 sirens, said Jim Steets, a spokesman for the station's owner, Entergy Nuclear Northeast. Troubles with the system have angered area officials for months, and Entergy has promised to install a new system by next January. (AP)

Next January? Promise?
(Anyone have the number for the Geek Squad?)
